    Our Pilot Episode Will Air on WCIU, The U!

    We are delighted to announce that our pilot episode will air on Saturday, September 3rd, at midnight on WCIU, The U!

    We’re at the Wilmette Theatre!

    We’re happy to announce one last stage performance before we shoot our television pilot!  We’ll be performing at The Wilmette Theatre on Saturday, May 7th, at 9:30pm.  We’ll be trying out some new things, and dusting off some old things… and hopefully giving the Wilmette Theatre stage a fitting Don’t Spit the Water dousing.

    The contestant search is on!

    Now that our pilot episode is a go, we’re on the hunt for our contestants!  Our three contestants will vie for the coveted and oh-so-mysterious mystery prize by keeping water in their cheeks while Chicago’s most ridiculous comedians try to make them laugh.  It’s not as easy as it sounds!  If you think that you have cheeks of steel, and want to put your poker face to the test, audition to be a contestant from the seat you’re sitting in right now!

    We did it! We have a green light for the DSTW pilot episode!

    Thanks to our friends and supporters, we’ve tipped our Kickstarter fundraiser.  What does that mean, exactly?  Well it means we’re going to shoot our pilot episode, and that it will be aired on one of the Weigel networks (The U, The U Too, Me-TV, Me-Too…).

    We’re all freaking out a little bit.  This is pretty exciting, and something we’ve been working towards since October of 2004, when Don’t Spit the Water! opened up at The Playground Theater for its original 4-week run.
